Loading yachts onto breakbulk vessels is a challenging and delicate operation. Smaller yachts are typically lifted in one piece by crane, while larger yachts may be transported in sections. The key is to securely support the hull using specialized supports (called 'cradles') and secure them with high-strength lashings at multiple points to ensure absolute stability. To prevent damage to the delicate hull paint, all contact points are padded with soft materials. The entire process requires extreme precision to ensure the yacht remains unscathed.
